TEM PERATURE PROBE

 

Ca u t ion !

  To calibrat e t he probes correct ly, a know ledge of and abiding by t he 

physical phenom ena on which t he m easurem ent  is based is fundam ent al:  t his is t he 
reason why it  is recom m ended t o abide by what  is report ed below carefully  and only 
t o perform  new calibr at ions if t echnically pr oficient . 

The probes are calibr at ed in our laborat ory  at  23 ° C at  t he point s of 75%  RH, 33%  RH 
and 11.4%  RH. On request , t he probes can be checked at  different  isot herm s. 

Th e  ca libr a t ion  of t h e  t e m pe r a t ur e  se n sor  by  t h e  use r  is n ot  r e qu ir e d: t he  
se nsor  is ca libr a t e d in  t h e  fa ct or y  a nd t h e  Ca lle n da r  Va n  D use n  pa r a m e t e r s 
a r e  r e cor de d in  t h e  SI CRAM  m odu le .

t h is is a s st a ble  a s possible  du r in g t h e  e n t ir e  ca libr a t ion  ope r a t ion . 

Ca libr a t ion  se qu e n ce : 

1.  Unscrew t he sensor prot ect ion on t he t op of t he probe. 

2.  I n its place screw t he bored cap with the t hreaded ring very well at  t he base ( t here 

are two t ypes of t hread:  M24x1.5 and M12x1, so use the appropriate one) . 

3.  Open t he cap for t he 75%  RH sat urat ed solut ion. 

4.  Should t here be any  drops of solut ion inside t he m easuring cham ber, dry  t hem  

wit h som e blot t ing paper. 

5.  I nsert  t he probe in t he cont ainer, m ak ing sure t he cap at  t he base is screwed 

well.
