9.5 Gas pressure springs

The armrests as well as the headrest can be adjusted pneumatically using a gas
pressure spring by means of a lever.
❖
If you carry out any setting by means of the lever of the gas pressure spring, you
only
need to operate the lever
when lowering
the armrests or headrest.
❖
Carry out a pulling movement upwards (
without operation of the respective
leve
r)
to lift
an armrest and / or the headrest again.

Pull the armrest and / or the headrest upwards carefully using your hand.

: You can lift the armrests as well as the headrest
without using your hands
. To do this, use your arm, elbow, etc. to push against
the underside of the armrest or headrest carefully to move it upwards
9.6 Headrest
WARNING!
Do not carry out any physical force to the headrest
(instructions are not depending on the adjustment of the lying surface).
Failure to do so can cause permanent damage to the construction of the
MLE. RISK OF TIPPING! RISK OF DISINTEGRATION! RISK OF INJURY!
The headrest is freely and manually adjustable (s.
fig. 3, 4 and 5
below).
You can incline the headrest (positive and negative by 30
0
) using the lever, which
is on the side of the pneumatic spring (
fig. 3
). Lock the set position by releasing
the lever.
