1.2 Safety instructions/RLX and RLX ELECTRIC
DANGER!
1.
Non-observance of the instructions of this instruction manual can endanger the
life and health of the operator and/or can damage the appliance.
2.
All electrical work to connect the RLX to the mains must be carried out by a
qualified professional. Do not modify the energy supply. The connection must
be carried out in accordance with the current local and legal regulations.
3.
Do not connect
the RLX to the mains if the RLX itself or the power cable or
the plug are visibly damaged.
4.
The power cord must not be placed near the motor during connection or
repositioning as it can be damaged while operating the motor. RISK OF
ELECTRIC SHOCK!
5.
Never try to repair the RLX yourself. If the RLX does not operate properly,
please contact the manufacturer or the shop you purchased the appliance at.
Original spare parts should be used only.
6.
When the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or
an authorized aftersales service or a qualified professional only.
WARNING!

Use a properly-grounded socket with proper voltage only. The electric
components must not come in contact with water. Check all cables regularly
and call the aftersales service if any cable is in improper condition. RISK OF
ELECTRIC SHOCK!
2.
Do not open the housings of the electric control panels!* RISK OF
ELECTRIC SHOCK!
3.
Liquids must not get into the electric control panels*. RISK OF ELECTRIC
SHOCK!
4.
Do not use water or any other liquids while carrying out an application. Do not
pour water or any other liquids on the RLX. RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
5.
Disconnect the RLX from the mains before cleaning and/or maintenance.
6.
For model variants with Smart Thermo II and/or audio-components: There are
cables between the upholstery and other components of the RLX. All repairs or
maintenance work must be carried out by persons who are authorized by the
Gharieni Group GmbH.
7.
Do not make the rating plate illegible! Do not remove the rating plate!
8.
Persons who are suffering from acute pain, venous disorders, low blood
pressure, inflammatory processes or other pathologies, which make heat
applications and the positioning of the customer resulting thereof questionable,
must always consult their doctor before treatment.
9.
Never use the RLX when your patient is under the influence of alcohol or
drugs.
