Observe the latest versions of guidelines, standards and country-specific

regulations, in particular:

à

BGV A1 "Accident-prevention regulations, General regulations"

à

BGV A3 "Electrical systems and equipment"

à

ASR A1.6 "Windows, skylights, translucent walls“.

à

VDE 0100, Part 600 "Erection of low-voltage systems Part 6 Tests".

à

DIN EN 60335-1 "Safety of electrical devices for home use and similar

purposes - Part 1: General requirements"

à

DIN EN 60335-2-103 "Safety of electrical devices for home use and

similar purposes - Part 2-103: Special requirements for drives for gates,

doors and windows"

à

If the risk assessment shows that the closing speed of approx. 9 mm/s

prescribed by the factor represents a special danger (e.g. for children),

further protective measures, e.g. switch with OFF default setting (push-

button / dead-man operation) must be taken. No protective measures

are necessary if the installation height of the window is ≥ 2.5 m above the

access level.
