4.2 Installation when using light gas
Because light gas usually collects close to the ceiling due to the difference in
density, the unit is mounted near the ceiling.
5 Operation
5.1 Commissioning, connection, operation
1. Connect the product to an easily accessible, possibly separately secured outlet.
After connecting, a short warning tone will sound and the ALARM LED will flash
twice.
The gas detector 230 V is ready for operation when the green POWER LED lights
continuously.
Due to continuous measurement, it can take up to 24 hours for the device to
function
reliably.
During normal operation, no controls are to be operated.
2. Pay attention to the visual and audible warning signals described below.
5.2 Warning signals
The device has visual and audible warning signals which, depending on the
situation, occur individually or in combination as follows:
