If the fuel-gas concentration of the room air decreases again, the unit returns to
normal
operation.
5.3 False alarm, defect
The device has no indication of false alarm. If a false alarm still occurs, proceed as
follows:
1. Are the environmental conditions deviating from the optimum operating range,
or are chemicals other than the gases referred to herein, e.g. alcohol or
acid present in high concentration in the room, test the Gas detector 230 V in
another
room.
2. If none of the above situations occur, disconnect the device from the power
supply and reconnect it.
If a false alarm continues, replace the device.
5.4 Test operation
• Regularly test the device for function, e.g. once a week.
• To do this, hold a commercial lighter without igniting near to the sensor
openings.
6 Maintenance, care, storage and transport

Gases and vapors from cleaning agents can lead to false alarms.
Detergents and chemicals can damage equipment.

Use only a dry and soft cloth for cleaning.

Do not use detergents and chemicals.
►
When not in use, store the product in a cool, dry, dust-protected
place out of the reach of children.
►
Store the original packaging for transport.
►
Regularly check the product for function.
