Alarm
When the low pressure alarm sounds, corrective action must be performed or the unit will require shut down to
stop the alarm. Alarms are tested at the factory before shipping. Dramatic drops in pressure indicating possible
containment failure are alarmed. Alarms will sound when operating work area pressures are between –0.03 and
+0.03 inches water column (w.c.). Normal work area pressures are 0.1 (+0.025) inches w.c. in either positive or
negative overall pressures.

Pressure Hose Disconnected
Reconnect small tube between control panel and
work area
After corrective action is taken, allow 30 seconds for alarm to reset. Observe the digital read-out to ensure that
the magnitude of the number is increasing. If number does not increase and alarm continues to sound call your
certifier or Germfree at +1 386-265-4300 for further troubleshooting.
