Chapter 2 Getting Started
This section provides basic information to get the camera working on the network.
2.1 Installing on a Network
These instructions describe the basic connections to install the camera on the network.
1. Using a standard network cable, connect the camera to your network.
2. Connect power using one of the methods:

Using the supplied power adapter, connect to power. For details, see

Use the Power over Ethernet (PoE) function. The power will be provided over the
network cable.
3. You can now access the Web interface of the camera.

For GV-FE110 / FE111, use the default IP address 192.168.0.10 to log in the
camera. You can also assign a static IP address. See
2.1.2 Assigning an IP

For GV-FE2301 / FE420 / FE421 / FE4301 / FE520 / FE521 and GV-FER521, if the
camera is installed in a LAN without the DHCP server, the default IP address
192.168.0.10 will be applied. You also can assign a static IP address. See
2.1.2
Assigning an IP Address
. If the camera is installed in a LAN with the DHCP server,
use GV-IP Device Utility to look up the camera’s dynamic IP address. See
