Aggregate Alarm Configuration Screen
At the SRM-6 Configuration menu, press
3
and then press
Enter
to access the Aggregate Alarm
Configuration screen, shown below.

Special Considerations
Masks set at the Aggregate Alarm Configuration screen are applied to alarm events displayed at the
Alarm Monitor screen. However, the Interface Status screen will always show the status of all
interface signals without masking.
When alarm conditions are set as Reported and the alarm is active, the SRM-6 will send a trap via
the SCM.

Aggregate Alarm Configuration Selections

[1] No Frame Sync
For the aggregate interface, sets the No Frame Sync alarm as a
Masked
or Reported alarm.
[2] No DCD
For the aggregate interface, sets the No DCD alarm as a
Masked
or
Reported alarm.
[3] No Remote Frame Sync
For the remote aggregate interface, sets the No Remote Frame Sync
alarm as a
Masked
or Reported alarm.
[4] All Alarms Control
Globally selects all aggregate interface alarms as Masked or Reported.
[CR] Return to Previous Menu
Returns to the SRM-6 Configuration screen without saving aggregate
alarm configuration changes to the unit.
[S] Save
Saves aggregate alarm configuration changes to the unit.
[0] Return to Main Menu
Exits the Configuration menu and returns to the SRM-6 Main Menu.
