5.1 Disassembling the actuator
WARNING
Actuator under spring
pressure!

Risk of severe injury or
death!

Only open the actuator
under a press.
1. Separate actuator from control medium.
2. Remove loose compressor 3 and
washer 47 .
3. Remove protective cap SA2 .
4. Remove optical position indicator SA1 .
5. Remove protective caps 29 .
6. Clamp actuator in a press.
CAUTION
Applied pressure too high!

Risk of breakage of actuator
top 10 !

Only use minimum required
pressure.
7. Undo and remove bolts 12 with
washers 13 between actuator top 10
and actuator base 16.
8. Slowly release the press.
9. Remove actuator top 10 .
10. Remove spring set FP from actuator
base 16 .
Important:
After disassembly, clean all parts
of contamination (do not damage
parts). Check parts for potential
damage, replace if necessary (only
use genuine parts from GEMÜ).
5.2 Replacement of spare parts
1. Disassemble actuator as described in
chapter 5.1, points 1-10.
2. Pull out actuator membrane assembly
manually upwards from actuator base
16 . The actuator membrane assembly
comprises actuator spindle 15 including
dowel pin 30 and adapter 31 , hexagon
nut 21 , washer 9 , upper and lower
membrane plate 6 , actuator membrane
