By recognizing the blade bounce, you will understand how to work
better with the brush cutter and how to eliminate the moment of
surprise.
Only cut ordinary or stem grass. Do not allow the blade to come into
contact with materials that it cannot cut – such as hard stems,
stones, hedges, steel, etc.
If you cut in areas with dense vegetation where you cannot see the
blade, be fully prepared for the blade to bounce.
Keep the blade sharp. A blunt blade increases the risk of it
bouncing.
Avoid cutting thick vegetation too quickly. If the cutting capacity of
the blade is exceeded, it will bounce.
Cut only from your right side to the left.
Keep the path you are following clean.
Hold the machine firmly with both hands. A firm grip minimizes the
risk of bouncing. Keep both hands on the handles.
Keep both legs sufficiently apart. Don't overwork. Keep a good
balance.

1. Always wear safety goggles. Never step in front of the rotating head.
Stone or other objects may be bounced into the face and cause injury.
2. Always have the string head guard attached to the brush cutter when
working.
