Group head thermometer for E61 brew groups
GBTVA-01/GBTVAQ-01
These operating instructions belong exclusively to
this product. It contains important information on
commissioning and handling. Pay attention to this, even
if you pass this product on to third parties. You should
therefore archive these operating instructions for
future reference.

For safety reasons, unauthorized modifications and / or
changes to the product are not permitted. Pay attention
to a proper commissioning. Please refer to these opera

3. Intended Use
The brew group thermometer shows the brewing
temperature shortly before the coffee puck. The brew
group thermometer is only for use in E61 brew groups
with M6 inspection screw.
The thermometer must not be submerged in water.
4. Installation
CAUTION:
The tip of the screw connection is very sensitive!
1. Make sure that the coffee / espresso machine has
cooled down.
Caution, risk of burns!

With the machine turned off, flush your group
head to relieve the pressure.

Loosen the M6 screw with the tool provi
-
ded for this purpose (not included), please
make sure that you also remove the seal.

Carefully remove the thermometer from the
packaging.

Make sure that the sealing ring is on the screw
connection.
6. Carefully screw the thermometer into
the M6 thread of the machine. Take a
10 mm open-ended wrench (not inclu
-
ded) and tighten the screw connection.

Now you can align the thermometer by hand
(turn the black housing by hand, max. 180 ° to the
right or left).
8. Check the tightness by pressing the
