6. First use
Open the battery compartment at the rear of the thermometer
and insert the batteries with the correct polarity, as indicated
on the base of the compartment, and then re-close. The
thermometer is now ready for operation.
8. App and Bluetooth
 Please activate the Bluetooth function on your mobile phone.
 Mobile device requirements: iPhone 4s / iPad3 / iPad mini /
iPod touch with iOS7 and above, all Android devices from
Android 4.3 / Bluetooth 4 and above.
 Download a corresponding app from the AppStore or Google
Play; we recommend the Easy BBQ App.

Turn on the Bluetooth thermometer

3 seconds on Power
 Follow the instructions on the app: Press the Power key on
the top of the thermometer.
 App and thermometer are now connected.
9. Operation
Activation of the probe:
 Insert the probe plug into one of the corresponding outputs
on the thermometer (output for probe plug 1 - 6)
 As soon as the thermometer is switched on, the probe is
automatically recognised
 Insert the probe into the desired food to be grilled; the tip of
the probe should be in the middle of the food to determine
the exact core temperature. In this way you get the best
possible grilling result.

5. Display and operating elements
 Current temperature
When using several thermometers, each temperature will
be displayed one after the other from channel 1-6 at approx.
1s intervals. However, on the smartphone, all temperatures
will be displayed at the same time.


Temperature unit
Note: Switching the display of this thermometer from "°F" to
"°C" can only be carried out via the smartphone settings menu.
Alarm Signal: A bleep sounds while Temperature Display 1 flashes.
To switch the thermometer on press the ON/OFF button (pos. 5)
for approx. 3s. The display initially shows "On" and then the first
line shows the temperature reading and the second line shows
the set target temperature in °C. If several probes are connected,
the arrow at the edge of the display points to the currently active
channel. To switch the thermometer off, press the ON/OFF button
again for approx. 3s. "OFF" then appears in the display and the
thermometer switches itself off.
