OPERATING THE 4X2 MATRIX FOR HDMI

•

EDID contains the A/V capabilities of a display device in regards to video
resolutions and audio formats supported. This information is used by the
source device to determine the format of the A/V signal on the outputs.
The GefenToolBox 4x2 Matrix for HDMI incorporates advanced EDID
management to ensure complete compatibility with all types of Hi Def
sources and HDTV displays. Please see pages 14-18 for more details.
