wires. Connect the white to white, black to 
black and green to the prepared hole with the 
green ground screw provided.

7. 

Replace the wiring box cover and screw. 
Make sure that all wiring is safely contained 
inside.

8. 

Install the light (75 watt maximum). For 
easier installation, squeeze the plastic lens 
and remove it from the hood. Remember 
to reinstall the lens.

9. 

Turn on the power and check the operation 
of the fan and light.

INSTALL THE RANGE HOOD

WARNING: Turn off the proper circuit at the
service entrance before wiring this range hood.

1. 

Run electrical wiring through the hole drilled in 
the wall or cabinet. Split wiring for 15.2 cm (6

and install the proper connector for the type 
of wire used.

2. 

Position the hood so that:

a.)

The wiring is routed through the 
knockout opening

b.)

The large part of the keyhole slots fit 
over the hood mounting screws

3.

Adjust the hood so that the front is flush 

with the cabinet frame.

4.

Tighten the hood mounting screws firmly.

5.

Fasten the wiring to the hood with the 

proper electrical connector for the type of 
wire being used.

WARNING: All electrical connections must be 
in accordance with local codes, ordinances 
or National Electrical Code. If you are
unfamiliar with the methods of installing
electrical wiring, secure the ser vices of a
qualified electrician.
