!WARNING!
Do not open the RCCU enclosure in a hazardous
environment.
1.
Remove the RCCU to a safe area before opening the unit. Loosen
the two (2) screws along the bottom edge of the back of the RCCU
housing, as illustrated in Figure C-5 on the previous page. Remove
the battery compartment cover.
2.
Unfasten the Velcro strap that secures the battery to the cover, and
remove the battery connector from the top of the old battery. See
Figure C-6 below. Dispose of the old battery properly.
3.
Install the battery connector on the top of the new battery and
secure the new battery to the cover with the Velcro strap.
4.
Replace the battery compartment cover and tighten the two (2)
screws on the cover. The RCCU may now be safely brought into a
hazardous environment.
