This displays the connections currently found on the PC. Select the icon for the Local Area
Connection and double click to open the properties for this NIC.

Scroll through the protocols used by the local area connection to find the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP).
Select this protocol by clicking on it and then click on the Properties button to open the window that
will allow you to set the IP address and Subnet mask.

Click the Radio button to “Use the following IP Address” and then enter both the IP address and
Subnet mask as shown.
