Once the hardware installation is complete, refer to the software installation guide provided with the 
RFID package.

This section describes how to install the VFD for Pedestal, Wall Mounted and Pole Mounted EVSE units 

only. 

For the Back to Back EVSE unit VFD replacement, contact a GE representative by calling 1-

800-GE1STOP. 

 
Open the service door and remove the VFD wire harness from the VFD as shown in Figure 43. 
 

 

 
 
 
If RFID has been provided, remove the RFID wire harness from the socket on the controller as shown 
in Figures 41 and 42.  
 
Next,  remove the VFD/RFID mounting assembly by removing the eight 10/32” nuts as shown in Figure 
44.
