The fresh food fan (located behind the evaporator
cover to the right) pushes air from the freezer
section into the fresh food section. Air travels in the
duct built into the fresh food cabinet though two air
ports at the top of the fresh food section. The air is
then pulled down through the air return passage in
the lower left corner back into the freezer section.

The freezer fan pulls air across the evaporator
coil and through the fan cover which directs the
air towards the icemaker and to the right. The air
then circulates down and is pulled back though the
bottom of the evaporator cover.
The fresh food fan utilizes a 12 VDC motor to
circulate freezer air into the fresh food compartment
through the fresh food air duct. The fan is located
above the right side of the evaporator and attached
to the back wall of the freezer with two 1/4 in. hex
screws. The evaporator cover must be removed to
access the fan.
