Lower Freezer Basket Removal
1. Lift straight up until the tabs on the sides
disengage from the slots on the slide brackets.
2. Rotate the front of the basket about 90° and pull
up and out.
NOTE: The lower basket can be removed without
removing the upper basket.
Lower Freezer Basket Replacement
1. Open the freezer door fully.
2. Rotate the front of the basket into a vertical
position, with the bottom of the basket pointing
WRZDUGVWKHÀRRU
3. Lower the basket into the freezer compartment,
rotating the front down after it clears the freezer
door.
4. Align the tabs with the slots on the slide
brackets and lower the basket into place.
To Remove Upper Freezer Basket
Inside the freezer drawer is a wire slide-out freezer
basket.
This basket can be pushed back so items on the
bottom of the freezer drawer can be reached.
Upper Freezer Basket Removal
1. Open the freezer drawer.
2. Lift up the back of the basket, then slide the
basket back until it clears the front hooks.
Ensure that the freezer drawer is fully closed
after each opening to maintain normal operating
performance.
Freezer Baskets
The freezer LED lighting is located at the top front
middle of the freezer compartment. It is covered by
a translucent plastic lens. To remove the lens, press
in on the two tabs at the center and right then pull
down.
The LED board is mounted with two plastic retainer
pins. To remove it, squeeze in on the sides of the
pins, pull down, then disconnect the three pin
connector.
Diagnosing
The LED board receives a constant 13 VDC and 4 - 5
VDC switched voltage (when the drawer is opened)
from the main control board. Voltage can be
checked at the LED board or at the main board.
LED Board:
• Black: Ground
• Red: Constant 13 VDC supply
• Purple: Switched 5 VDC supply
Main Board:
• J4 pin 2 through J4 pin 3: Constant 13 VDC
supply
• J3 pin 5 through J4 pin 3: Switched 4 - 5 VDC
supply
