The “Switched Neutral” circuit is designed to prevent
operation of the following components, in the advent of
the main door being left ajar to assist residual drying
and/or a malfunction of the power control board (PCB)
activating the relay/triac outputs:
• Detergent and rinse aid dispenser
• Heating element
• Water inlet solenoid valve
• Wash motor
Operation of the door microswitch is therefore a 120VAC
Neutral circuit, which in the COM to NC position, open the
switched neutral circuit and hence prevents the operation of
the above components.
NOTE: The NO terminal of the door microswitch is connected
to a wire marked “E2-S”, which connects to the detergent
and rinse aid dispenser terminal. You should remove the
wire from the detergent and rinse aid dispenser if the control
panel is removed to access the door microswitch and
“Switched Neutral” circuits to prevent strain/damage to the
“E2-S” wire.

Important. Check all wiring connections before reconnecting to supply.
