Oven
Control
Your oven is controlled either by a single OVEN
CONTROL knob or by a
switch and
an OVEN CONTROL knob.
It will normally take 30-90 seconds before the flame
comes on. After the oven reaches the selected
temperature, the oven burner
completely,
then on with a full flame-to maintain the selected
temperature.
If your range is equipped with a separate
switch:
Turn switch to BAKE for all normal oven
operations—for example, for cooking roasts or
casseroles. Only the bottom oven burner operates
when the BAKE setting is selected.
Use the BROIL setting for broiling. Only the top oven
burner operates when the BROIL setting is selected.
Electric Ignition Models
The oven burner and broil burner are lighted by
electric ignition.
To light either burner, turn the OVEN CONTROL
knob to the desired temperature.
The burner should
