2.4.2 ADTS 405F Mk2 Flight-line Version
It is important that the position of the ADTS 405F Mk2 in relation to the aircraft altitude
sensors is known. An altitude correction must be made to allow for the difference in height
between the reference level and the aircraft's altitude sensors. See Section 7.3.11, “SETUP,
ALT,” on page 87 for details of altitude correction.

The corrected altitude output equals the true altitude output increased by height difference.

Note:
The Δ

altitude correction value should be positive when the ADTS is positioned
below the aircraft.
WARNING
The ADTS should not be placed in contact with hazardous
fuel vapor concentrations.
