Thermal fuse: The thermal fuse is in-line with the
compressor wiring and comes only as a complete
harness assembly.
Capacitor: The capacitor assists the compressor
starting and lowers the running current.
WARNING: Be sure to discharge the capacitor with
proper insulated pliers and electrically rated gloves
before attempting service.
For a compressor not starting, if the capacitor is
suspected, it is recommended to substitute a known
good capacitor of the same value in its place.
