10. COMPLETE WINDOW PREP
A. Insert the foam seal behind the top of the lower
window sash and against the glass of the upper
window.
CAUTION
To prevent broken glass or
damage to windows, on vinyl or other similarly
constructed windows, attach the window locking
EUDFNHWWRWKHZLQGRZVLGHMDPEZLWK[´
screw.
B. 3ODFHWKHZLQGRZORFNEUDFNHWDVVKRZQ8VHD
´GULOOELWWRGULOODVWDUWHUKROHWKURXJKWKHKROH
in the window lock bracket and into the upper
window.
C . For a wood window, attach the window lock
EUDFNHWWRWKHXSSHUZLQGRZZLWKD´RU´
hex head screw to secure the window in place.

11. RETURN CHASSIS TO THE
OUTER CASE
B. Attach the other end of the ground wire to the
unit with the remaining grounding screw.
C. Replace the front panel on the unit, reversing the
steps followed in 3A-3D.
D. Measure and cut foam backed sheet. Slide down
into the window accordion channels.
E. Plug into a grounded 3-prong outlet.
F. Press RESET on the power supply cord. See
Electrical Requirements.

11. RETURN CHASSIS TO THE
OUTER CASE
A. Once the case is securely attached to the
window, reinstall the air conditioner. Have two
people lift the air conditioner and slide it into the
case.
Avoid the grounding wire with reinsertion.
Here
