INSTRUCTIONS
Turn air conditioner off and

The air filter behind the front grille
should be checked and cleaned at

Wipe both sides of grille with a
clean cloth lightly dampened with
mild liquid

brush. Be careful not to force the
movable louvers out of position.
Other areas behind the grille may
be wiped or vacuumed, taking care
not to damage the coil fins.
Wash cabinet with
soap or
detergent and lukewarm water.
Never use strong chemicals,
solvents or bleaching

Air Inlet Grille Removal
If your air conditioner is mounted
flush inside the room or if the
window sill extends farther into the
room than the chassis, it may be
necessary to remove the air inlet
before the filter can be
removed.
To
remove the grille,
pull the air
inlet grille out by grasping the front
at one side and pushing down to
disengage the tab. Do the same to
the other side.
The air filter can now be removed
from
grille—grasp the tab on
the filter and pull.
After cleaning, replace the air filter
and air inlet grille, pushing the
into place.
