TC-125 Detailed Initial Programming
NOTE: This document is written for the installer and for the System Administrator.
“Regular” telephone users do not need it.
Follow these steps to program your new phone to work with GCT’s TeleCraft telephone systems. Please refer to the telephone
manual for additional information.
1. Insert the batteries and connect the power supply.
2. Place the white telephone label over the existing
label.
3. Press {flash}, then press the PBX HOLD key till you
see SAVE OK.
4. Press * 7, then press the PICK UP ANY key till you
see SAVE OK.
5. Press {flash}, then press the XFER/CONF key till you
see SAVE OK.
6. Press {flash} 180 * then press the TRANS V-MAIL
key till you see SAVE OK.
7. Press *81, then press the MESSAGE key till you see
SAVE OK.
8. Press * 8 43, then press the CALL FORWARD ON
key till you see SAVE OK
9. Program the LINE buttons:
Press and hold the LINE 1 button until you see a
cursor flashing on the display.
Press 81
Press SAVE. Now the cursor is at the bottom of the
display.
Press the digit 5 three times to display “L”
Press the digit 4 three times to display “I”
Press the digit 6 twice to display “N”
Press the digit 3 twice to display “E”
Press the right arrow twice to leave a space
Press the digit 1 to display “1” (change it to “2” for LINE 2, etc).
Press SAVE again. You’ll see SAVE OK on the LCD.
10. Repeat step (9) above for the rest of the LINE buttons as follows: for LINE 2, enter 82, LINE 3 enter 83 and so on.
