PRESSURE GAUGE CHECKS:
Pressure readings are the best indicator of normal or not-normal operation of system. The gauges for the Easy Series AB
Formulator are located on the front of the system.
Filter in gauge displays
the incoming water pressure from the city supply. 65 - 75 psi is normal operating pressure.
Filter out gauge displays
the water pressure after the two pre-filters feeding the membrane. No more than 20 psi differential when
system is operating.
When the s
ystem is filling the tank,
the
filter
out gauge
reading of more than 20 psi
lower than the
filter
in gauge means one or
more of the pre-filter cartridges are clogged and needs to be replaced, see
Troubles
hooting
Guide.
System pressure gauge is an indication of the water pressure being delivered to Points of Use (POU). If this reading is below 35 psi,
it is not normal. Issues which cause low system Pressure could be caused by a lack of power, a problem with the pump or an issue
prior to the system itself; refer to Troubleshooting Guide.
CHECK THE BYPASS HANDLE POSITION:
Keep the yellow bypass handle
in the off position at all times unless otherwise instructed by the Troubleshooting Guide. Please
contact your Service provider when
bypass handle is moved into bypass.
Emergency situations which require putting the bypass handle into the bypass position, turning the bypass handle (yellow handle)
to point towards the word bypass, are:
1.
System pressure
gauge reads below 35 for an extended period of time.
2. If a severe leak, or unusual noise, such as the pump motor, is noticed. See Troubleshooting Guide.
CHECK THE PUMP ON/OFF SWITCH:
The green pump switch light will be lit when in the on position. Light turns off when switch is turned off
.
CHECK THE AB FORMULA ON/OFF SWITCH:
Only turn this switch on when the storage tank is full. The yellow AB Formula light will be lit when in the on position. Light turns
off when switch is turned off.
CHECK THE AB FORMULA:
Lift the A & B boxes to check the Formula. If there is no Formula left then the TDS will be low and erratic.
NOT ALL WATER TROUBLE
means there is a problem with the Easy Series System. It could be the building’s electrical circuit failure,
fluctuating city water pressure, recent plumbing changes to building or store volume and increased usage, all may be the source
of the problem.
If there is no water going to POU (espresso or brewer), this is a sure sign that the problem is not with the Easy Series System. You
must always check the water tower and see if it is stuck open or leaking which will use up water capacity. Even a slight drip is enough
to over use the system.
