4.3 Error messages on your display
Your display can also show error messages. Here’s an
explanation of what they mean and what action you
should take.
In the event of a malfunction, the assistance indicators show
the type of malfunction:
• a flashing ECO indicator shows a sensor malfunction;
• a flashing NORMAL indicator shows a malfunction of the
motor or controller;
• a flashing BOOST indicator shows a battery malfunction;
• if all the indicators flash, ECO, NORMAL and BOOST, this
shows a display malfunction.
If one of the above errors appears in your display, it means
that one of the above malfunctions has already occurred.
Remove the battery from your bike and replace it, to check
whether the error messages reappear. If malfunctions
happen regularly, we strongly advise you to contact your
Gazelle dealer.
