   INSTALLING THE RAIN FLY

1.  The tent must be free standing with all seven walls popped out and

the roof collapsed.

2.  Slide the rain fly loosely over the tent roof. The short connecting

poles should be on the underside of the rain fly.

NOTE: Make sure that your rain fly is oriented correctly to your

tent before moving onto the next step. The correct orientation

is such that the small triangular flap with a plastic hook is

positioned along the narrow panel of the permanent sleeping

portion of the tent.

3.  Starting at one corner, insert the male end of the short poles

attached to the rain fly into the female end of the roof pole.

Repeat this for all four corners.

[ SEE FIGURE 10 ]

4.  Enter the tent and push up to pop up the roof panels.

NOTE: Make sure everyone keeps a safe distance from the

outer perimeter of the tent when popping the roof panel open

and closed.

5.  Outside the tent, fasten the plastic hook to the eyebolt of the back

 panel.

[ SEE FIGURE 11 ]

6.  Locate the small diameter multi-section corded pole and assemble

it through the fabric sleeve over the vertical screen door. At each of

the exterior upper corners of the door, there are small grommets for

the ends of the multi-section pole to be placed into. This bows the

multi-section pole and creates additional clearance above the screen

 door.

[ SEE FIGURE 12 ]

7.  For full rain protection, unroll the large triangular panels along the

length of each side of the tent. The points of these panels can be

fastened to the ground stake that is also being used for the tie down

rope. When not in use, these triangular panels can be rolled up and

stored along the upper seam of the rain fly.

[ SEE FIGURE 13 ]

   REMOVING THE RAIN FLY

1.  Unhook the plastic hook from the back panel and remove the

multi-section pole from over the screen door.

2.  Enter the tent and pull down the roof hubs.
3.  Outside the tent, collapse one side panel hub to relieve tension

on the roof poles.

4.  Pull all four rain fly poles out of roof pole sockets.
5.  Slide the rain fly off of the tent.
6.  Re-open the collapsed side panel hub, then enter the tent and

push up on the roof to re-open those panels.

NOTE: The tent is usable with or without the rain fly installed.

Make sure the rain fly is clean and dry before folding and storing.
