A gastrostomy left port, located near the
waist, connects directly to the stomach tank.
Gastric Feeding and Suctioning
1.
To fill the stomach reservoir for gastric feeding
and suctioning, attach the funnel to the
gastronomy port located at the waist and fill
the reservoir with up to 200 mL of fluid.
NOTE: Use a 12-16 Fr sized catheter for
nasogastric tube feeding and gastric suctioning.
2.
When the procedure is complete,
you may collect any remaining fluid
with the same suctioning tool.
