Using Multimedia
Playing audio and video files with Windows
Media Player
The Windows Media Player can play several types of audio and video files,
including WAV, MIDI, MP3, AU, AVI, and MPEG formats. For more
information about the using the Windows Media Player, select
Help
.
To play a file using the Media Player:

Click
Start
, then select
Programs
,
Accessories
,
Entertainment
, then
Windows Media Player
. The Windows Media Player opens.

Select
File
, then
Open
. The Open dialog box opens.

Select the file you want to play, then click
Open
.

Play the file by clicking (play), then stop playing the file by clicking
(stop).
