During operation:
At all sides leave approx. 15 cm (6 inch) of free
space to walls, other objects and the edge of the workspace. Do not
operate the appliance on inclined surfaces or near any inflammable,
corrosive, or harmful substances. Do not place the appliance or any
part of it on or near sources of heat (e.g. burner, heater, oven).
• Do not place any clothes, tissue or other foreign objects on, under or
into the appliance to avoid risk of overheating, fire, or electric shock.
•
After emptying the water tank, do not leave the appliance stand
near the edge of the workspace.
• This appliance can be used by persons (including children aged from
8 years on) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
lack of experience and knowledge, if they have been given supervi-
sion or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way
and understand and handle with the hazards involved. Even cleaning
may only be done by children elder than 8 years under supervision.
Children must always be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance or any part of the appliance or the packaging. Do
not leave the appliance or any part of it unattended, when they are
in reach of children younger than 8 years or animals.
Only use the
appliance for cooling clear drinking water. For operation, do not
fill any other liquids, flavours, or food into the water tank
to avo-
id injuries and damage caused by harmful germs, overheating, fire,
and electric shock. Do not fill hot water into the water tank, to avoid
damage.
Do not place any foreign objects into the appliance.

To avoid the build-up of harmful germs and algae within the ice
producing system:
Clean the appliance regularly (see: ‘Care and
Cleaning’). After usage, remove and empty the ice container and dis-
card residues of water in the water tank. On elongated use, replace
the water by fresh cold drinking water at least each day.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS FOR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES
The appliance is working via an electrically driven compressor and a refri-
gerant. Connect the appliance directly to a protected mains power sup-
ply with protective conductor (earth/ground) connected properly. Ensure
