CLEANING THE CARAFE
Note:
Do not leave brewed coffee stand overnight in the carafe as this can cause the
carafe to stain. Do not use abrasive cleaners, pads or cloths which can scratch
the surfaces.
1. After each use, empty the carafe and rinse the carafe and carafe lid under run-
ning water.
2. For a deeper clean, we recommend regularly washing the carafe in warm dish-
water with a soft brush.
3. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
CLEANING THE BEAN HOPPER
1. Remove the hopper lid.
2. Turn the locking knob counter-clockwise in the direction of the UNLOCK arrow.
Remove the bean hopper. Remove remaining beans.
3. Wash the bean hopper and hopper lid in warm dishwater and a soft brush. Do
not use abrasive cleaners, pads or cloths which can scratch the surface.
4. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
CLEANING THE BURRS AND COFFEE GRINDS CHUTE
The LCD screen will display ‘CLEAN COFFEE CHUTE’, when the burrs and coffee
grinds chute need to be cleaned. We recommend doing this immediately to avoid
clogging and overflowing of the coffee basket. Depending on frequency of use, you
may choose to do this every 2-3 weeks.
1. Connect the appliance to the power supply and press the OPEN button to open
the swing-out door. The coffee grinds chute will rotate to the open position. You
may hear a winding noise. Unplug the appliance.
