INDEPENDENT SYSTEM
When the characteristics of the tractor are such that they cannot
guarantee the correct working of the blower, it is necessary to
install a self-contained oleo-dynamic system.
Installation characteristics
- Oil supply: follow the data in the table in Fig. 30.
Operation description
The multiplier joined to the tractors power take-off, works a pump
that takes oil from the outside tank to the three-way regulator.
Here, indicated on the manometer, the pressure required for the
motor to work the blower is adjusted (Table 5). Furthermore, the
system is equipped with a safety valve that allows the blower to
continue to rotate from inertia without suffering breakage or
damage, if the circulation were to stop suddenly.
Starting up
With the engine off and the tractor immobilized, connect correctly
the quick-couplings. Clean and grease the tractor power take-
off. (A Fig. 30). Connect the multiplier (B Fig. 30) to the machinery
power take-off as shown in figure 30. Make sure it is correctly
coupled, block the rotation of the multiplier with the chains supplied
(C Fig. 30).
Check the multiplier oil level and top up if necessary
(ESSO SAE W80-90)
. Start the tractor and run the system at idle
for a few minutes, bringing constant pressure to the entire circuit
in order to avoid instability of the blower. Bring the blower up to
the number of revolutions that corresponds to the working
conditions (Tabella 5).
ATTENTION
When it is not intended to distribute product, but rather to use
only the equipment to which it is applied, disconnect the pump
and the multiplier from the rear power take-off and replace it in
the special attachment.
Blower pump control:
Seed drills are delivered with pressure based on the machine
width, as according to Table 6.

If you wish to increase the number of revolutions of the fan for
distributing heavier seeds, carefully proceed as follows (Fig. 31):
WARNING
In those cases where the power is taken from the rear power
take-off of a harrow or a miller, if possible disconnect the
moving parts of the knives. In any case, make sure that no one
is able to get near the rear apparatus.
a) loosen the handwheel (A Fig. 31);
b) rotate the handwheel (B Fig. 31) clockwise or anticlockwise
to reduce or increase pressure and adjust the number of
revolutions of the blower accordingly.
c) When the adjustment has been completed, tighten the lock
nut again.
WARNING
It is strictly forbidden to touch act on the dowel (C Fig. 31) for
any reason, as this would unset the system and could lead to
the motor or pump breaking.
Remember furthermore that at the successive start-up of the
system, with cold oil and the position of the regulator untouched,
there will be an initial increase in the blower speed which, once
the right working temperature has been reached, will return to
that set.
