3.8.2 ROW MARKER DISK ADJUSTMENT
Row marker with trace on the tractor wheel (L1)
Using the
Table 6
shown, read the distance (L1 Fig. 36) at which
the disc is to draw the reference line. Regulate the disc at the
correct distance, tilt it slightly and firmly tighten the nuts (Fig. 39).
For distances not covered by the table, use the following rule:
L= D (N +1) - C

the disc is to draw the reference line. Regulate the disc at the
correct distance, tilt it slightly and firmly tighten the nuts (Fig. 40).
For distances not covered by the table, use the following rule:
L= D (N +1)

The row marker arms have a safety bolt (A Fig. 40) so that the
planter unit structure will not be damaged. If they happen to bump
into an obstacle, this bolt will break and so the row marker arm
will rotate to leave the equipment structure intact. There are spare
bolts on the row marker arm support (B Fig. 40).
