4.1.2 REAR EQUIPMENT (CENTAURO - SEED)
The operation must be carried out on a horizontal plane.
1) Attach the rotating harrow to the tractor, open the side parts
till they reach operating position, following the instructions
shown in the equipment's Operation and Maintenance
manual. Ensure that the equipment is perfectly parallel with
the ground.
2) Mount the four supports for the seeding bar on the rear roller
of the rotating harrow (Fig. 30).
3) Arrange the seeding bars side by side, correctly aligned with
respect to the rotating harrow.
4) With the tractor, and exercising extreme caution, bring the
rotating harrow close to the seeding bar, then, with the aid of
the lifting unit, couple it as shown in Figure 28 (A).
5) Using the screws provided, (B, Fig. 28) secure the rotating
harrow/seeding bar coupling.
6) Remove the four supports from the seeding bar.
7) The machine in the correct operating position, check the
length of the seed descent pipes: while the seeder is
operating, it is important to avoid folds and bends in the
pipes which can lead to their breaking. Adapt them, if
necessary, by varying the length as shown in Figure 29.
