FCC Compliance
The Rino 110 complies with Part 15 of the FCC
regulations and with Canadian ICES-003 for Class B digital
devices. Operation of this device is subject to the following
conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interfer-
ence, and (2) this device must accept any interference
received, including interference that may cause undesired
operation.
This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio
frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accor-
dance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference
to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee
that interference will not occur in a particular installation.
If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio
or television reception, which can be determined by turn-
ing the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try
to correct the interference by one or more of the following
measures:

Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.

Increase the separation between the equipment and
receiver.
x
Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit differ-
ent from that to which the receiver is connected.
x
Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician
for help.
The Rino 110 does not contain any user-serviceable
parts. Repairs should only be made by an authorized
Garmin service center. Unauthorized repairs or modifi ca-
tions could result in permanent damage to the equipment,
and void the warranty and your authority to operate this
device.
FCC Licensing Information
The Rino 110 two-way radio operates on General
Mobile Radio Service (GMRS) frequencies that are regulated
by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in
the United States. In order to transmit on GMRS frequen-
cies, you are required to obtain a license from the FCC. An
individual 18 years of age or older, who is not a representa-
tive of a foreign government, is eligible to apply for a GMRS
license. To apply for a GMRS license, you will need FCC
Form 605 (605 Main Form and Schedule F) and FCC Form
