The GTN has detected

The backlight has been
automatically dimmed to
reduce the unit temperature.
• Check the vents around the bezel are
unobstructed.
• Check adequate airflow around the unit.
• Check that the cooling fan is unobstructed.
• Check fan wiring. Refer to
GTN 725/750 TSO
Installation Manual, P/N 190-01007-02 for
details.
• Replace the fan. Refer to section 5.3 for
details.
• If the message persists, replace the GTN.
Refer to section 5.1 for details.
COOLING FAN -
The cooling fan has
failed
The GTN has detected a
problem with the cooling fan.
CONFIGURATION
MODULE - GTN
configuration
module needs
service.
The GTN configuration
module has failed.
• Check configuration module wiring. Refer to
GTN 725/750 TSO Installation Manual,
P/N 190-01007-02 for details.
• Replace the configuration module. Refer to
GTN 725/750 TSO Installation Manual,
P/N 190-01007-02 for details.
DEMO MODE -
Demo mode is
active. Do not use
for navigation.
The GTN is in Demo Mode
and must not be used for
actual navigation.
Check the
DIRECT-TO
key is not stuck or
pressed while the unit is being powered up.
GTN - GTN needs

internal failure.
Replace the GTN. Refer to section 5.1 for details.
INTERNAL SD
CARD ERROR -

inner knob is stuck
in the pressed
position.
The inner large knob push-
key is stuck in the pressed
state. Knob is located on the
lower right corner of the
bezel.
• Press the knob to cycle its operation.
• If the message persists, replace the GTN.
