5.6 Bottom Cover Removal and Replacement
Refer to figure 5-7 while performing the following procedure.
Removal
1. Remove the single 4-40 x 0.25” countersunk screw and four 4-40 x 0.25” panhead screws securing
the bottom cover to the COM/NAV chassis.
2. Remove the bottom cover.
Replacement
1. Place the bottom cover on the COM/NAV chassis.
2. Replace the single 4-40 x 0.25” countersunk screw first to ensure proper cover alignment.
3. Replace the four 4-40 x 0.25” panhead screws.
