7.1. MAINTANANCE AND CARE AFTER USE
Perform the following maintenance operations
and care when you have finished working with the
machine to ensure the smooth running of this device
in the future.
7.1.1. CLEANING
Before cleaning the unit, disconnect the machine.
Warning! Always clean the machine after use. Not
carrying out a proper cleaning can cause damage
to the machine and cause a malfunction. Whenever
possible, clean immediately after work.
Keep your machine clean and in good condition.
Do not clean the engine with water. The electric motor
may be damaged.
Clean the housings of your machine with a cloth
dampened in water. Never use gasoline, solvents,
detergents, water or any other liquid to clean the
machine.
7.1.2. POWER CORD CONTROL
Inspect the power cord and extension cord for damage
or signs of aging. If you notice that the cord is not in
good condition take your machine in for service.
Do not use the machine if the cord is damaged.
7.1.3. ENGINE VENTILATION DUCTS
Remove dirt from vents in order to prevent damage to
the motor and avoid a possible fire.
