Protection against overloads
If the cylinder is blocked, for example due to very thick branches, the machine
starts to work backwards and the clogged waste is expelled.
1. Turn the machine off
and remove the very thick branches from the
feeder hopper.
2. Place the direction of rotation switch (see “Changing the direction of the
rotation”) for a few minutes at “0” position, then turn it again to the right.
Restart after power failure
After a power failure, the machine does not restart automatically when the
current is re-established.
In order to turn it on again press
WORK INSTRUCTIONS
General work instructions
• When using the shredder, keep away from the machine since long branches
could move from side to side while they are absorbed.
• Place the container (basket, bucket, carton) under the expulsion channel in
order to gather the crushed remains.
• When introducing the branches in the machine, hold them until the machine
absorbs them automatically.
• In order to speed up the work, adapt yourself to the machine and do not
overload it.
• In order to avoid that the machine is clogged, alternate the crushed of garden
soft remains with dry branches.
• Before starting to crush, eliminate the roots as well as the rest of land and
pebbles.
• Do not crush soft or humid materials like food remains, place directly in your
compost heap.
• Keep aside some dry branches in order to use them to contribute to the
cleaning of the machine.
• Do not turn the machine off until all the remains pass through the zone of the
cylinder that carries the blades. Otherwise the cylinder could be blocked for the
next use.
Elimination of blockages
1. Turn the direction of rotation switch to the left and turn the machine on. The
cylinder that carries the blades works backwards and it expels the clogged
remains.
2. If this operation does not work, place the direction of rotation switch in the “0”
position and press the switch a few times until it unblocks the machine.
3. To continue working, turn the machine off, turn the direction of rotation switch
to the right to the forward position and turn the machine on again.
4. To eliminate a persistent blockage, you can increase the space between the
blade and the cylinder. To do that, turn the regulation screw (pg. 7 picture A,
