7.3
Electrical connection
DANGER
Risk of strong damage and fire on the
electric power components.
•
The power supply to the compressor
side has to be fitted for industrial
equipment and fulfilling the
requirements of NFPA 79. Any kind of
operation outside of the stated limits of
NFPA 79 is inadmissible.
•
The electrical connection should be
made by a qualified electrician.
DANGER
Only for L15RS-L22RS: There is a risk of
electric shock from charged capacitors!
•
Disconnect the system from the mains
and wait 10 minutes before touching
electrical components. The power
capacitors need this time to discharge.
Make electrical connections as follows:
Route the supply cable through the cable gland
(-1- Fig. 10) on the switch cabinet and tighten screws.
Connect the supply line to the connecting terminals as
shown in the circuit diagram.

CAUTION
If local regulations are stricter than the
values given below, the stricter of the two
should be used.
Recommended supply cable diameters and fuses for multi-wire cables or three current-carrying conductors in
raceway based on 86 °F ambient temperature
