persons to use the device who are unfamiliar with the device or who have not
read these instructions. Power tools are dangerous when used by inexperienced
persons.
e. Take good care of the device. Ensure that moving parts of the device function
properly and do not seize, if parts are broken or are damaged, then device
function is impaired. Have the damaged parts repaired before using the tool.
Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools.
f. Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Carefully maintained cutting tools with sharp
cutting edges seize less and are easier to control.
g. Use power tools, accessories, insertion tools etc. according to these instructions,
and in the manner prescribed for this particular device type. Give due
consideration to work conditions and the task that will be executed. Using power
tools for applications other than their intended use can lead to dangerous situations.
h. Hold the appliance by the insulated grip surfaces when performing work in
which the insertion tool can hit concealed power supply lines or its own power
cable. Contact with live lines can also charge metallic tool parts and lead to an electric
shock.
Special notices:
• Check the rpm indicated on the grinding tool and ensure that this is equal or bigger
than the rpm on the rate speed of the device.
• Ensure that the measurements of the grinding tool match the device.
• Check the grinding wheel before use; do not use worn, cracked or otherwise damaged
products. If the grinding wheel is so worn out that it is no longer possible to adjust the
visual cover pane or the grinding device then replace the grinding wheel.
• Ensure that the grinding tool is attached and fastened properly before use and let the
tool run idle for 30 seconds in a safe position before putting it into use. In case of excess
vibrations or if other defects are determined, stop the machine immediately and check
what has caused this.
• If a protection cover is included in the delivery with the power tool, never use the
power tool without this protection cover.
• If you use a grinding tool with a threaded insert, make sure that the thread is long
enough to take on the spindle length.
• Attention! The grinding tool continues to run for a short while after the tool has been
switched off.
