WARNING. When using the brush cutter or line trimmer, the guard
(parts 15&17) must be installed.
The attachment for the brush cutter and line trimmers is one single
attachment that you can combine with the motor head (11). The attachment
itself has two interchangeable cutting devices: the gear box head used with
the line trimmer spool (9) used for trimming and cutting lawns and weeds
etc, and the gear box head used with the brush cutter blade (18) used for
cutting thicker weeds and vegetation.
The use of both these functions requires that the guard
(parts 15&17) is assembled onto the gear box head.
Do not use the attachment without the guard (parts
15&17) assembled as follows:
1) Insert the line trimmer/brush cutter shaft (13)
into the slot on the lower part of the clip-on line
trimmer guard attachment (15) so that the shaft is
located above it and the screw holes on the shaft
align with the holes on the clip-on line trimmer guard
attachment (15). (Fig. D1)
2) Fix the brush cutter guard (17) on the lower part of the clip-on line trimmer
guard attachment (15) by inserting the pin on the brush cutter guard (17)
through the hole provided on the clip-on line trimmer guard attachment (15)
so that the screw hole in the brush cutter guard (17) is over the screw hole in
the clip-on line trimmer guard attachment (15). (Fig. D2, D3)
3) Secure the three components together by turning the short screw on
the combination tool clockwise using the wrench (41) (screwdriver part)
provided. (Fig. D4)
