Can I use the smart SILENO even without a gateway?
Yes, in this case the smart SILENO works just like a standard SILENO Robotic
Lawnmower, but with the limitation that it cannot be controlled and monitored
via the GARDENA smart App.
Is the smart SILENO constantly connected to my smart Gateway or
smart App?
No, all settings that you make on the smart SILENO via the smart App are
saved to the device. This ensures that no continuous connection needs to
exist. Even in the event of a failure of the smart Gateway or an interruption
in the connection, the smart SILENO continues to operate as you originally
defined. The smart devices only communicate with one another if you modify
settings via the GARDENA smart App, manually start or park the smart
SILENO or if the smart SILENO signals a fault, for instance. In addition,
the status of the smart SILENO is queried via the smart Gateway at regular
intervals.
Can I navigate the smart SILENO via the app?
Direct navigation of the smart SILENO in that manner is not possible and
unnecessary. You can start and park the smart SILENO at any time via the
GARDENA smart App.
