At what frequency do the devices transmit signals?
GARDENA smart devices (such as the smart SILENO) use the ISM frequency
868 MHz standard for Europe to communicate with the GARDENA smart
Gateway.
Are there minimum system requirements for a router?
No. Your router only needs to be connected to the Internet and, in order to
connect the gateway to the router, must provide a LAN or Wi-Fi interface for
your local network.
Can I control my smart system while abroad too?
You can control your GARDENA smart system from anywhere in the world
with your GARDENA smart App. Internet access is required for the device on
which you have installed the GARDENA smart App.
Can I use the gateway from my existing Smart Home for the
GARDENA smart system?
With the GARDENA smart system, GARDENA offers you a self-contained
and functioning system. It is not yet possible to implement any third-party
products.
