Watering with the GARDENA smart system
Operation
For which applications is the smart Water Control ideal?
• For the water-saving automatic watering of plant pots, plant areas and plant
rows with the GARDENA Micro-Drip-System. A suitable starter set is
available for each application.
• For the carefree automatic watering of lawns, ideally with the GARDENA
Pop-up Oscillating Sprinkler OS 140, art. no. 8221, or the GARDENA
Large-Area Pop-Up Irrigation AquaContour automatic, art. no. 1559.
Each also available as a starter set with connecting pipe and accessories.
Can I use my existing watering system with the smart Water Control
too?
You can of course replace your existing water computer with a smart Water
Control set and start enjoying the benefits of the GARDENA smart system.
Can the smart Water Control also be automatically combined with the
water distributor (art. no. 1197)?
Yes, if two to six garden areas are to be automatically irrigated one after the
other. Watering is automatically opened and closed for each desired outlet
in succession according to the schedules in the GARDENA smart App. In the
smart App, simply schedule a break of at least 5 minutes between watering
routines.
Is the smart Water Control frost-proof?
The GARDENA smart Water Control is not frost-proof. It does have a
temperature sensor, however. You are warned in good time by the GARDENA
smart App in the event of frost.
