If the material you are shredding becomes jammed in the cutting
cylinder, you can reverse the direction of rotation to release the
material.
1. Press the red
OFF
switch
C
and wait until the cutting cylinder
stops moving.
2. Press the lock
D
and turn the switch
E
to the
Backwards
position
.
The switch
E
can only be turned when the
lock
D
is pressed.
3. Press the green
ON
switch
C
.
If the cutting cylinder suddenly becomes blocked (e.g. due to a
foreign object or feeding in too much material or branches that
are too thick), the cutting cylinder direction of rotation normally
switches automatically to "Backwards" to release the trapped
material. The switch remains in the “Forwards” position.

stops moving.
The cutting cylinder direction of rotation is automatically chan-
ged back to “Forwards”.
2. Press the green
ON
switch

Alternate shredding fresh, soft cuttings with dry branches.
The suitability of the shredder for cutting garden waste which is
soft and contains large amounts of sap (e.g. pomaceous fruit, wet
plant waste) is
limited
. This material should be composted straight
away.
5. Maintenance

Always switch off the motor and wait for the cylinder
to stop moving before carrying out maintenance work,
unplug the mains plug, and wear protective gloves.

To avoid injury to persons and property, never clean
your shredder under running water, in particular not
with water under high pressure.
Always keep the ventilation slit

free of dirt.

Remove dirt and shredded material using a soft brush or cloth
straight away after you have finished shredding.
