Before you maintain the product, make sure that

To clean the Grass Shear [ Fig. I1 ]:

Do not clean the product with water or with
a water jet (in particular high-pressure water jet).
To increase operating time, the product should be cleaned
and sprayed after each use.
1. Clean the product with a damp cloth.
2. Lubricate the blade

with a low viscosity oil
(e. g. GARDENA spray-oil Art. 2366). Avoid contact
with the plastic parts.
5. STORAGE
To put into storage [ Fig. I1 ]:
The product must be stored away from children.
1. Charge the battery. This increases the life of the battery.
2. Clean the product (see 4. MAINTENANCE) and slide
the protective cover

3. Store the product in a dry area where it has protection
from frost.
Disposal:
(in accordance with RL2012/19/EC)
The product must not be disposed of to normal
household waste. It must be disposed of in line with local
environmental regulations.
IMPORTANT!
Dispose of the product through or via your municipal
recycling collection centre.
Disposal of the battery [ Fig. S1 ]:
The GARDENA battery contains lithium-ion cells that
should not be disposed of with normal household waste
at the end of its life.

To change the blade [ Fig. T1 ]:
Only an original GARDENA blade is allowed to be
used. A new blade can be ordered by the GARDENA
Service.

3. If necessary clean the transmission chamber and lubri-
cate the excentric drive

with some acid-free grease
(Vaseline).
4. Turn the excentric drive

downwards.
5. Pull the crank

on the motor unit in such a way
that the excentric drive

is inserted in the crank

7. Slide the lid

Problem
